VENDORS CR RELEVANCY
PVE Tier 4: Vendor CR 70 – CR 83

Guide Tips

  • The fastest way to reach CR 84 is to have: Hand of Fate, The Battle for Earth, and Home Turf DLC packs,
  • Try to make all Home Turf Daily missions and Wayward Souls / Soul Alchemy Alert everyday.
  • If you can access T4 Raids, remember doing it every week with no excuse.
  • When you have the enough amount of Marks, start buying the highest statistic weight equipment (check statistics weight in CR Calculator)
  • Doing Home Turf special mission every 5 days will grant you CR 73 Equipment set. This set can be really helpful to not expend Marks of Victory in Tier4, and together with Equipment MODS will raise your CR to 84
  • If you have Origin Crisis DLC start doing T5 Challenges, they will boost your CR with CR 83 equipment.
  • If you get some cool items by doing Challenge, DuosAlerts, or Raids (like equipment CR 72 or 83), make some projections by putting your actual equipment and the equipment you want to spend marks on in the Combat Rating Calculator, to see what you need to buy to get the desire 84 Combat Rating
  • Once you get the desire 84 Combat Rating, check our Combat Rating: CR 84 to CR 100 guide

Hello Laneman, thanks for your comment. We got missions relevancy by testing many times. However, we are glad you mentioned this, please let us know what CR exactly you have when these missions are not relevant anymore to you

  2. Old Newbie

Is there a guide that states the best route to gain MoT? I can only do Challenges and some quests. Its really disheartening to do all that and only get 1 MoT, especially when some challenges might be difficult.

Hello Old Newbie, our combat rating calculator tells you all available content according to your combat rating http://dcuobloguide.com/tools/combat-rating-calculator/. The best way to get Marks of Triumph is doing alerts everyday and raids once a week. However, at your combat rating entering this content can be hard so you may need to find a helpful league that can get you in those alerts and raids

  3. Xaelum

This hasn’t been added to include the new T4 duos mentor missions yet. How does that stack up against just doing raids?

Thanks Xaelum, we have forgotten to update these guides with T4 Duos. Raids loot are weekly so having these T4 Duos available will grant you 6 Marks of Victory daily

  4. Taylor

I was wondering if there was some sort of daily mission for my cr73 healer similar to the one my main character does to get 98 pieces in Gotham Seige. Thanks

    1. DCUO Bloguide Post author

Hello Taylor, if you have access to Home Turf episode you will be able to access those 2 solo daily missions, 2 group daily missions, and after completing 5 solo daily missions of the same chain quest you will grant an additional special mission. You can check more about this here http://dcuobloguide.com/dlc-packs/home-turf/

We still have to update our DLC Packs guide where we will explain more about episode available content. Stay tuned!

  5. Warband

Hello, first off, love the site. I use it for all my characters.

I was wondering, is there a reason Wayward Souls and the other 2 raids are not on my On Duty list? A prequest perhaps? I remember having a quest complete that doctor fate said he added something to something, assuming my on duty menu, however all that’s there is Inner Sanctum, and the first 2 raids. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks in advance!

Hello Warband, Wayward Souls and other 2 raids probably are bellow the On Duty List. They are not display together with T4 Alerts or T4 Raids because they are operations. Look them below the list anywhere that says Operation

    2. Warband

Thank you. Of course, as soon as I posted this question, I booted up my Ps3 to play some DCUO and found them. Immediately felt quite dumb for asking here, ha! But thank you so much for the response. Atleast now incase anyone else was having the same “problem”, they have an answer!

Hello Darkcabal, you dont need to buy all T4 Set to reach CR 80 or CR 84. Depending Episodes you have access, you can get equipment Level 76 from Hand of Fate’s Raids

  6. Dr. Mike Wendell

Hmmm, can’t reply to the post author. Ok….

The WANTED: Second-Generation Morrowbot and WANTED: Oolong Siege Robot group missions each award 625 MoTs, not 125 as you have written. Be happy to supply a screen cap if you need it.

Thanks Dr Mike for pointing this out. We were wrong and you right. 🙂

    1. DCUO Bloguide Post author

Hello Dr Mike, for T4 missions the reward is always 125. On T5 quests, 625 is the reward for finishing them

hey i just got war of light 1 dlc i wnna know if i can go from cr 81 to 84 as fast as i can but i cant buy any other dlcs right now what can i do

Hello Bedoo we read both of your comments for accessing War of the Light: Part 1 Content, you required at least CR 85 so you have to choose between: getting Origin Crisis which let you access to T5 Challenges with CR 80, buying 1 month Legendary which will let you all DLC access including Origin Crisis and Sons of Trigon that will help you increase your Combat Rating faster to CR 84.

Hey i was wondering if i dont have any dlcs and need to get to cr 84 as fast as i can and cant buy any dlcs in the future wt can i do and im cr 81

Hello Bedoo, if you feel you can raise your Combat Rating really fast i recommend you to get Legendary for 1 Month so you can reach CR 100 or more as fast as you can. Once you reach CR 100 you can choose to buy any of T6 DLC Packs

  9. Blaine

I have cr 80, only 1 piece of Tier 4 gear left to buy, and have no clue how to get stronger gear to reach cr 84 and start buying tier 5 gear. What do I get to bridge the gap to tier 5/

    1. DCUO Bloguide Post author

Hello Blaine, with CR 80 and Origin Crisis DLC Pack you can enter to TIER 5 Challenges where you will find CR 83 Equipment. This will easily get you to CR 84 where you can start buying TIER 5 at Gotham Wasteland or Mogo/Ranx’s Comander

  10. Chris

Hi , I’m cr 65 and struggling to get higher, that home turf special mission you mentioned, what is it called and where can I find it?

    Reply
    1. DCUO Bloguide Post author

You will need to be 70 combat rating before those quests show up. When you get 70 youll find some missions in your journal which will redirect to home turf quest giver

    2. Romain

I’d suggest you don’t buy the tier3 armor but buy the Synthetic Mods III instead (same vendor) it costs 125 marks of triumph and you can simply equip them on your current equipment. If I remember correctly it usually gave about +2 to +8CR level (on the item you put on ofc)

  11. Trumpet

Hello there. A question about clean up effort quests. Why is it there is no automatic quest after finishing the first one. When i talk to the robot it says i should go back tom. When i look at my journal there is no quest on cleanup effort list if quests. Im stucked at 1/5 for clean up effort. Is this a bug?

Hello Trumpet, thanks for your comment. I have had the same problem before with some Hand of Fate quests and i assure you that removing and retaking the quest (which is not viable) wont resolve the problem. Adds and NPC are the buggy ones, so for fixing the problem there are somethings you can do:
      * Relog with your character
      * Change PHASE (PVP from PVE or viceversa)
      * Come back later and try to hit the NPC again

This bug has been around 1 year or more by now and most players just get used to that bug and try the quest later 🙁 It is a bug that DCUO must fix

    1. DCUO Bloguide Post author

Hello Taylor, Investigation and races are the next in the list of easy and must do feats 🙂

    1. DCUO Bloguide Post author

Hello Travis, it is always recommended that your skill points be higher than your current combat rating. So you should have 80 or more skill points. However, it can be very hard for low cr to achieve most of the skill points so you can get 100+ Combat rating and start feat hunting as fast as you can

    1. DCUO Bloguide Post author

Hello Godzilla, when we say Raids we mean that are content available with a 8 members group

    1. DCUO Bloguide Post author

Hello AtomPower, having Origin Crisis will let you access t5 challenge at cr 80 but you will need to buy TIER 4 until you reach cr 80. Between cr70 and cr84, it is recommended to have Hand of Fate DLC Pack, this will make your raising easier 🙂

    2. DCUO Bloguide Post author

Well the fastest way to get CR 84 is with HAND OF FATE DLC pack. You will be able to do T4 ALERTS AND T4 RAIDS where you can get CR 73 TO CR 76 armor 🙂
