  1. I have up to episode 17, and am curious what episodes I can purchase past this to reach the highest cr without buying all of them. Preferably, I’d like to buy only 5 episodes past episode 17. VVhich ones should I purchase, minimally?

      Hello Ben, it is a hard question to answer because you can simply collect full Equipment from tier vendor and reach CR 139 which allow you to enter Blackest Night & Wastelands Wonderland episode skipping all previous episodes but it will be very difficult to accomplish it with not enough content.

      In your case, i would by episodes that gives me Challenges, Duos, and Alerts which allow me to get Marks of Victory everyday skipping raids at all. So here is the list of the episodes you can get to reach the highest CR:
      * The Demon’s Plan & Deep Desires
      * Science Spire & The Phantom Zone
      * Harley’s Heist & Darkseid’s War Factory
      * And the latest, Episode available

      As you can see in our DLC Packs section, there is a vendor for each 3 new Episodes and you only need to have 1 of those episode to access all items from that vendor. I think that is the catch of raising CR without buying all episodes.

    • This is a really awesome guide. been using it through my first run through of the game. I’m nearing the end of the guide though. I play on xbox one and the CR there goes up to 175. any plans of adding to this? it would be a huge help!

      We are currently working on our apps to better explained what to do according to your CR. At the moment, our CR Calculator tells you what Content is available for your character but we will improve this CR Calculator to also let players know where to find better items 🙂 Stay tuned to our Fanpage for more information

  2. Andrew

    My CR is 32 and I’m only using 30? How can I use the other 2CR?

    • DCUO Bloguide Post author

      Hello Andrew, once you reach level 30, near your character’s name there will be displayed your CR and your LVL. You raise your combat rating by getting dropped equipments from T1 instances or buying tier armor from vendors. Check more about Tier Vendors here

    I have a CR of 138 dps with a 134 healer and 147 sp. My power is sorcery. I am looking for a dps loadout with high number potential. I am a hero.

  4. ShibiRedFoux

    where can I find T4 gen mods. Do I need dlc? Or do I have to farm them

    • DCUO Bloguide Post author

      Hello Shibi, you can farm them from T4 instances. However, you can also buy them from T4 Vendor However, it is not recommended to buy this mods until you reach the highest CR because Marks of Valor are recommeded to be used on Tiers

    You do NOT have to be legendary to make it cr126. You at least have to be premium and al that takes is a $5 or so purchase in the store. Ive been playing since it was offered free To Play. I make it a Point to buy the DLC packs as they come out, so I own them regardless of my legendary,prem, or Free status. You do have to learn to budget your money because of your $2000 limit is vender spending.

    To survive you will have collect sodas, crap & extra gear you dont need in alerts. spend time collecting farming exos(is spend 15 mins a day, do daily alerts everyday. I NEVER use replay badges These will keep you going and keep your gear repaired. Forget about using the auctions($2k limit again). Make friends and join a league.

    The only thing that held me back for a while was obtaining interfaces’ that cost over 2k. Then i had friends buy me a stack or when i needed one, of late my league has a stack in league bank. I did buy bank/inventory slot increases a few times during sales, as well as a 1 week unlock escrow token im saving for special occasion, which i will use and buy everything from every vendor that i can. my sorc healer/dps is now cr 124. Ive spend a total of maybe $100 on this game since 2011

      Thanks Cretos for sharing your experience. In fact, we also play DCUO as you mentioned. Never have access to legendary but since Lightning Strikes we have been buying all Episodes. When we say Free to Play we mean that players must buy Episodes to access the latest content.
