  1. Hello, me again. I just rolled a new toon to nature (2nd toon, the first being celestial) and I noticed that someone already mentioned the primal wolf (beastmorpher) thing… am wondering, is there some sort of dual spec loadout or hybrid build for both? I personally prefer the ranged option as I went for bows, but I am curious if a hybrid build can be done. From what I believe I read from the tooltip is that you can switch forms even when controlled – which basically sort of makes it a breakout when you are incapacitated. I just got the dog form and it seems very useful to break out of some stuns from Gorilla Grodd’s green apes that sometimes get the jump on me and the power regen is impressively FAST. Yeah, I know I just kinda started to play as nature, but I usually come here to your guide for some helpful tips.

Hi Arzon, we are glad to know you consider helpful our guides and tips.

You can have a hybrid build for alone situations like challenge, duos, or missions, but for raids or alerts hybrid builds get useless because you almost every time you have controler to powers you, healer to restore your health, tank to keep agro away from you, and your must focus on making fast and strong damage. I guess thats the reason why most players dont use hybrid builds.

But dont let this stop you from making your hybrid build you can use it in solo situations when you dont have others rol to help you 🙂

What part does thorn shield play in the rotation if harvest is already spreading the poison spores?

    • dcuobloguide Post author

Hi Slade753, thanks for writting us. Thorn Shield is a Protective power that can be activated while controlled. When you get surrounded by many adds or knocked down by some control effect, use it to protect you for a short time.

Why haven’t you included the primal wolf form? Is there something it lacks that this loadout makes up for?

    • I’m guessing that with the loadout they recommended it’s not an option unless you skip your iconics.

Hi Sam Puckett, thanks for your comment.

Some players like tu use primal wolf form to dps. However, we considered better to focus on your might and powers to damage your opponents than being in Primal Form. In raids, Range DPS is more used than melee dps so this loadout contains power that will guaranteed heavy range dps without being in Primal Form.

But if you love being primal form pick it we just want to help people giving directions on how to manage their powers. However, every player can makes their own builds and loadout. Just remember, have fun using what you most like 🙂

  4. Sooooo is the old nature load out of vine lash, savage growth, briar and harvest outdated then? I also always had impaling thorns and carnage. I love nature, by far still my favorite power but my old load out seems week now?

Hi Maximus, Nature and Sorcery powers were updated with Game Update 32. Thats why we post these new guides with updated loadouts and builds. Briar and Vine Lash have the same power interaction, but Briar increases all damage by 50% and using it with Voracious Plants makes heavy damage.

  5. DiabloLNK

I use a Vine Lash, Briar, Harvest, Impaling Thorn, Carnage and Rampage loadout.
I usually deal the most damage with instances with many adds, because vine lash + briar then spread with Harvest burn everything. I can also prolong the poison with a single Harvest. In boss fight, that + Carnage and Trinket in between Rampage can dish out a lot of damage also.
However, I feel like something is off. What is your opinion?

    • dcuobloguide Post author

Thanks for your comment. Vine Lash and Briar has the same power interaction, they both “Releases Poison Spores to cause damage over time“, but Briar increases all damage by 50%. This is the reason we recommend Briar->Harvest->Voracious Plants rotation to ensure high dps.
Carnage increases the critical attack chance and Precision of yourself and your group members, but it has a 45 seconds cooldown and its effect last 25 seconds. On the other hand, Swarn deals damage while it is on cooldown and increases all damage 50%.

Our guides try to give players a point of reference so they can use their power; however they are free to build their loadout in the way it suits them.
