Hello Diva, it is recommended to have weapon mastery and cross weapon masteries unlocked. Using weapon mastery combos will decreased your power consumption. However, if you are using Bug loadout you can avoid having these unlocked

  1. Matthew good

Should nature have dps gear or healer gear? Since bug form has power back making it possible to heal rotate in heal role and dps has extremely little power back making it impossible to dps rotate with nature

    1. DCUO Bloguide Post author

Bug form has power regeneration but you still need restoration to heal your allies and that only comes from healer gear

  2. Ymike

Im having a hard time deciding which power to chose from. What power would you say is most useful and most beneficial in different types of situations. What’s the difference between them? Do people prefer 1 more than the other?

    1. DCUO Bloguide Post author

Hello Ymike, thanks for your question. In my opinion, i like ice because it is one of the most wanted tanks in-game plus its AM at the moment (using correctly) allows you to never run out of power. Nature and Sorcery are great healers. For DPS, Sorcery and Earth are dealing the heaviest damage ingame with their pets

  3. Diva

Hello I am nature healer my restoration is over 17000. I have been playing DC less than a year and I am trying to find the best loadout that will help me heal. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    1. DCUO Bloguide Post author

Hello Diva, you can use this build for nature healing. Once you are great with it and if you like using Insectoid Form you should try healing in that form 🙂

  4. Mrs Honest

this is a healer question in general, but does the more power you have enable you to use more abilities? Because if that were the case, wouldn’t it be better to take reserve tank chest tactical mod instead of quick healing so you can heal more without running out of power?

    1. DCUO Bloguide Post author

Hello Mrs. Honest, healers will always need controllers for Alerts and Raids which is why quick healing is recommended for healers. Having reserve tank tactical mod will increase your power pool but no matter what you do, if you dont have a controller having that extra power stats wont help when you need to heavy heal your allies

  5. VanityVine

Plz help I’m nature healer and I got the white modes from my base 1 and 2 but only weapon and neck modes are showing what do I do

    1. DCUO Bloguide Post author

Hello Vanity thanks for your question. Tactical MODS Upgrade I only shows weapon MODS, Tactical MODS Upgrade 2 only shows Neck MODS, when you get Tactical MODS Boost 1, it will unlock Back, Feet, Chest, and Hand Tactical MODS

  6. Arlakh

Hi, guys! Awesome site. Good job.

I’m a Nature healer and I have 2 questions about the power:

1º) The insectoid form’s right-click attacks are white numbers, so I assumed they were related to my precision. But when I use Hive Mind, it more than triplicates the damage. With that shock (similar to pulse beam, if I’m not wrong) I hit the sparring for ticks of 6 average damage before HM, and 21 average damage after HM. Since HM is a might buff (yellow numbers), it made me confused. Could you explain this to me?

2º) By what i read, it would be better to use insectoid form if you are a nature healer, but many people don’t do so, cause they hate the looks of it and also like to see their gear. I’m quite the opposite, =P. Love the “bug”. So my loadout is (Blossom / Sav. Growth / Metabolism / Hive Mind / Swarm Shield / “bug”). I have Regeneration at Healer form, so I can bug-off, use it and bug-on. But I don’t really like keep changing forms. Do you guys think it would still be effective to take one of my pheromone powers, let’s say Sav.Gr., out of the loadout to put Regeneration in its place? Could (Metabolism->Blossom) be enough till the group need the Regeneration?

Thx in advance, guys. Again, great site =).

    1. DCUO Bloguide Post author

Hello Arlakh, thanks for your support we are glad to be helpful.

It is a great info you mentioned maybe Hive Mind improves your Insectoid attacks same as they were might base.
Your loadout seems to be great and having pheromone powers is also a great idea but you should have them on normal form loadout. This will allow you to be a hybrid nature healer. However, being hybrid can be good for challenge and duos, Alerts and Raids will need you to be full bug form because you need to be more focused on keeping your team alive rather than doing damage 🙂

  7. Mrs DoubleFinger

Hi guys love the guides however have found since T8 release you cannot heal as nature without the advanced mechanic (well at least).

There fore can you please to help out new comers change the power build to incorporate the advance mechanic.

I use at 165 the following ( bug form)
    Savage Growth
    Cross Polination
    Swarm Shield
    Hive Mind

This build will have the biggest heal vs power load out for any healer in the game.

The Power load out is as follows.

    Down to savage growth
    Across to blossom
    Then down to Cross Polination

    Straight down to Bug form
Left side straight down to hive mind
Not I do not use Supers as the points are not needed

    Iconic powers
    Miracle worker
    Empathic healing
    Wisdom of Solomon

Hope this helps everyone as of June 3rd 2016 this is by far the best build for the best power (Nature) in game for healing at present…. If trying to create a good league 8man core group Have Celestial as the other healer….

    1. DCUO Bloguide Post author

Thanks Mrs DoubleFinger, for sharing this amazing build and rotation. It is nice to have your experience shared in the guide, i am sure this will be very helpful for players that want to know more about nature healing

    1. DCUO Bloguide Post author

Hello Zero, you are right. We unlocked Harvest because some players like to replace it for challenges, duos, or missions where extra damage can be useful. However, you can use that power point if you wont use Harvest at all

  8. Anonymous

I use a certain loadout where I spam harvest while using the power back mech and I was wondering if nature has strong Hot’s or not…also I kinda hate killing the troll because I spam harvest.

    1. DCUO Bloguide Post author

Hello Anonymouse, all healer powers has its own advanced mechanics. Nature and Sorcery are considered the best healers but its Healing Mechanics differ. Nature is all about Healing over time while Sorcery is Healing Area of Effect + Pet Heals.

Nature HOTS will be based on your restoration so if you want it to be strong you will need to boost your Restoration Stats

  9. Natureguy

Does this build have a way to recover power like some other classes can? Also would it be better to be in bug form or does it not make make difference I always thought that was a buff for nature over others

    1. DCUO Bloguide Post author

Hello Natureguy, recover power is trigger by DPS Advanced Mechanics. Nature healer is the only power that can also recover power in Bug Form plus using HIVE MIND.

Hive Mind description for Insectoid Form says “Restores Power for each Pheromone effect applied, whenever Blossom removes Pheromones effects and when activating Swarm Shield. Significantly increases the damage caused by Acid Split, Fury and Launching Uppercut and causes Fury to hit additional enemies in an area surrounding your target”

Some players prefer to not use Bug form because they like to see their equipment but some experienced players prefer this for Nature Healing

    1. DCUO Bloguide Post author

Hello Swampy, bloom is no in the loadout so it doesnt have to confused players 🙁

  10. swampy

I just luv this site, I have been play the game since 2011 and I still come back to theses guides TY…… I haven’t used nature in years, always preferred sorcery or electric. Which brings me to my questions.
First is nature healing still stronger in bug form? And the next question is I see you recommend blossom? Isnt blossom a slow heal with a very strong heal at the end? Because if my memory serves me right, when it was used the slow cast time would get crushed by the massive in coming damage!

    1. DCUO Bloguide Post author

Hello Swampy, thanks for your support and comment. We are glad to be helpful.

It is said that Nature healing is stronger in bug form. However, most players doesnt like to use bug form because they cant see their styles which is why these guide show a loadout without bug form.

We are also working on a project to allow players create their own guides and share them with the community. This project will also help us improve our guides so stay tuned for more information 🙂

  11. Ellen Hobbs

Amazing guide. Easy to follow, extremely helpful. I was honestly having a hard time before but now I’m owning it up & having a blast. Thanks so much! : )

  12. Cam

Hi. I started a Nature healer on ps4. Is there a way to heal effectively without insectoid form? I don’t see many people in raids and dungeons that are a bug like me and I like seeing my gear. With Hive Mind, despite the benefits, I never get to see my aura and gear. Is there an alternative?

    1. DCUO Bloguide Post author

Hello Cam, thanks for your question. I also like to see the gear on the character. As you can see these build and loadout allows you to heal without using insectoid form so you should use it and let me know how it goes for you 🙂

  13. Royal Smitty

I just downloaded this game for Xbox One and heard that nature healers were good. Is this guide updated? I plan on using it lol

    1. DCUO Bloguide Post author

Yes Royal you can use this healer guide. There are 2 ways of using Nature for healing porpuses. We will be updating our guides soon stay tuned 🙂

    1. DCUO Bloguide Post author

Hello Louie, thanks for your comment. We are currently working on our guides to update the most needed 🙂

    1. DCUO Bloguide Post author

Hello Zaxxanidan, thanks for your comment. You can use replenishing or restorative with no problem. In fact, they are both nice for healers. However, this effect is not that good overall because it only works once every 3 minutes

  14. Eamonn Matthews

Hi I was considering switching back to nature from electricity. However, I was wondering if it is still a good idea to use the insect mode when healing because I noticed you guys suggested to still use the Primal Wolf form when DPS’ing.

    1. DCUO Bloguide Post author

Hello Eamonn, as you see in some of latest comments Insect mode is a great way to heal with nature because of its mechanic which restores power back when you activate Hive Mind and use healing abilities with pheromones. This guide is focused on normal form but you can unlock Insectoid form using some of the power points spent in the iconic tree. You can read more about insectoid form healing in the comment added by #Shizenbyousha:

My current build focus on the new mechanic with insectiod form which restores power back when you activate Hive Mind and use healing abilities with pheromones.
In insectiod form: Savage Growth, Metabolism, Harvest, Hive Mind, Swarm Shield, Regeneration

  15. Alex

The icon of Hive Mind is wrong, or has been changed. That icon is for Harvest, and the left tree from Flora doesnt even need that last 4th power, which is Harvest, since it’s not used.

  16. Robert

This is the second time trying a nature heal first time I made a mess of it.=( My question is how long do the Pheromones stay on a target? This seems to be the part I do not understand

    1. DCUO Bloguide Post author

Healing with nature is all about releasing and removing Pheromones. So using Savage Growth or Metabolism will release Pheromones and when you see an allie low health, Blossom should be used. In order to maintain Pheromones always active you should use Savage Growth or Metabolism everytime you use Blossom.

Pheromones stays on your allies for some time. However, you can use a weapon mastery combo + Savage Growth or Metabolism in order to refresh the effect and saving mana with weapon mastery combo bonus

  17. jklands1

So im switching from tank to heal, and we do t7’s dc elite and raids cause we are having a hard time having a healer available. which healing do you reccomend?

    1. DCUO Bloguide Post author

Hello Jklands1, Nature and Sorcery are really great at healers task and both consider as the best healing powers. I personally prefer Sorcery 🙂

    2. DCUO Bloguide Post author

I like having Sorcery pet by my side and AOE healing. However. if you prefer Healing over time then you should choose Nature 🙂

    3. slipHAZARD

A lot of people say it’s a matter of opinion about what’s the best power for this that or the other. But honestly for healing it’s Nature. I would highly recommend it. There’s nothing that Nature can’t do that the other healing powers can. And has virtually no down sides to it. It has 2 of the best and quickest group heals in the game (blossom and harvest), the best HoT’s (heals over time) and with bug form the best power regeneration of any of the healers.

I do respect and thank all the writers that contribute loadouts to DCUO Bloguide but I have to disagree with the loadout presented here. It will work, well for Alerts but for Raids and harder content you’re really going to want Bug form. It increases your Crit heals as well as your base healing and gives tremendous power back, which in turn benefits the entire group especially the troller. Raids can 100% be done with this loadout but it’s not the most effective nor group friendly loadout.

My suggestion for a nature healing loadout would be:

      Human Form:
Savage Growth – Metabolism – Blossom – Regeneration – Swarm Shield – Insectoid Form

      Insectoid Form:
Savage Growth – Metabolism – Harvest – Blossom – Swarm Shield – Hivemind

Again this is a loadout that covers all basis, great for harder content and if you happen to be running an alert without a troll. Unless it’s a vanity thing where you NEED to see your character, all you need in your human form loadout is Regeneration and Insectoid Form. And you only have regeneration in there for incase you get knocked out and picked up, you can quickly pop it before going back into Bug form.

All that being said, every healing power is more then capable of running everything. If you don’t mind being in a bug form a lot then Nature is a great healer, if you want a more laid back heal Sorcery is great for it’s circle and watcher, Electricity is more about responding heals and knowing when big dmg is going to happen and Celestial is a spam fest of button mashing 🙂 but in return produces some monster heals.

Just my opinion, sorry for the long post :p

    4. DCUO Bloguide Post author

Thank you so much slipHazard for sharing this amazing comment. We will soon update our guides and your experience shared will help you in that task. Thanks again for sharing 🙂

  18. Nikto

I’ve been healing with Nature for since 2012. I’m currently 120 CR and 141 SP. I’ve tried quite a few loadouts all of these are decent options for sure. I thought I would share my current loadout since I haven’t seen it yet (unless I missed it somehow) My current loadout is:

Savage Growth, Metabolism, Cross Pollination, Blossom, Swarm Shield, Regeneration.

The only reason that I chose this load out over others is because of the speed and versatility in emergency heals without having to conflict with clipping, (i.e. If someone gets caught in a heavy hitting DOT by a boss)

    Further explanation:
Metabolism, Cross Pollination, and Blossom, all can be used in fractions of a second from each other where as harvest or bloom needs time before you can launch other powers due to cast and cool down time. That said, I think the wonderful thing about nature healing is that it is so versatile that it can fit just about anyone’s playing style.

Thanks for all the knowledge sharing!

    1. DCUO Bloguide Post author

Thank you so much Nikto for sharing your experience with the guide. Our loadouts are very similar and using Cross Pollination is a great variant for emergeny healing 🙂 You are welcome to keep posting comments if you like so players can learn more about your experience hehe

  19. Zane

First, I would like to say this bloguide is absolutely amazing! It’s wonderful help.

I know you’ve mentioned it before, but I wanted to get your absolute opinion on this: is human (non-insect form) nature healer viable in T7 content?
I really dislike the insectoid form, largely due to aesthetic reasons, but it seems everyone wants nature healers to go into the form in T7 raids. I want to test out brawling WM to regenerate power, but every group threatens to kick me if I don’t go into insectoid form.

    1. DCUO Bloguide Post author

Hello Zane thanks for your comment. We are glad our guides help you 🙂

I personally dislike insectoid form and primal wolf form too. However, i have seen players using Insectoid or just Normal Form. You can read more about players discussing Insectoid Form here in DCUO Forums

In my opinion, if they threaten with kicking me if i dont go insectoid, i leave that group myself. If you keep them alive, they shouldn’t bother and shouldn’t tell you how to do your work

    1. DCUO Bloguide Post author

For healers, Hand Blaster and Brawling: Shuriken Storm Mastery are great to increase hit counter fast and restore power 🙂

  20. Elzlyn

Hi! I’m just here to ask a quick opinion of yours. Would you say Nature is better for healing rather that Electric, or? It’s just I want to be able to have the best healing power.

    1. DCUO Bloguide Post author

Hello Elzlyn, in-game most players prefer a nature healer over electric because Nature Healer Mechanics heals over time while Electric focus on giving big healings when you below 45%.

  21. Ben

Great guide. I am looking to start a nature toon. I was wondering if heal spec is viable for leveling? Should I just spec dps until 30? Also I have a question about gear. What are tactical mods? Also R&D is that even worth the time to gather? Thank you. Once again great guides.

    1. DCUO Bloguide Post author

Hello Ben, it is recommended to reach level 30 and raise your combat rating in DPS Role because you will be able to kill enemies faster. You can read more about tactical MODS here and you shouldnt worry about R&D mods until you are reaching the highest Combat Rating which at the moment is 126

    2. Ben

Thank you for the link. I appreciate the time to reply to my questions. Thanks again for the great guides.

    3. DCUO Bloguide Post author

You are welcome Ben, we always try to answer our community comments sometimes we do it right away others we take a few days depending the complexity of the question hehe

It is nice that our guides help you 🙂

    4. Ben

I have one more question this is regarding skill points. Do you suggest putting points into stun resistant, restraint resistant, stun recovery, restraint recovery, and breakout mastery? Thank you again.

    5. DCUO Bloguide Post author

Of course Ben, with those skill points you will refund some of your power while in combat and this is really helpful for any situation PVP and PVE

    1. DCUO Bloguide Post author

Both statistics are needed but you will be able to unlock more restoration than critical healing magnitude. When you distribute your skill points always unlock critical healing magnitude and critical healing chance first then restoration

  22. koegen

i just wanted to point out that in the flora tree you have harvest but you do not seem to use it in your loadout so that point might be better used somewhere else if im not mistaken.

    1. DCUO Bloguide Post author

Thanks Koegen for pointing this out 🙂 With GU50, Nature AM will be improved and this guide will be updated 🙂

    1. DCUO Bloguide Post author

Hello Yamen, it is more a personal choice. We recommend being in normal form because you can use weapon mastery combos before a superpower to decrease the power consumption which in insect form is disable

    2. Sequoia Pixie

Wouldn’t WMs before the heals prolong the heal? From my experience so far, when bosses produce big DOTs those fractions of a second are really cruicial especially for nature healers (since we need to restack pheromones after casting blossom?)

And does the hive mind AM apply when you’re in normal form?

I’m a nature healer and I use insectood form every time. But I dislike it aswell. I don’t like how it looks. Lol.

    3. DCUO Bloguide Post author

Hello Sequoia, thanks for sharing your experience. Hive mind AM only applies when you are in insectoid form 🙁 which is a shame because some players doesnt like bug form

    4. Sequoia Pixie

Oh I see. 🙁 Bummer. Haha. Hmm. Would you say the powerback benefits of WM outweighs the benefits of insectoid form hive mind AM?

    5. DCUO Bloguide Post author

Of course, Hive Mind AM outweights WM refund and Nature is the only power that has a healer AM.

    1. DCUO Bloguide Post author

Hello Steven, i havent use them all deeply but for what i know: Sorcery is great as an AOE healer. Nature is great as a Healer over time, Electricity is great as a Instant Healer, and Celestial is great as a Battle Healer (but is a little hard to manage).

Hope this answer your question or at least gives you an idea of what you want to choose 🙂

    2. DCUO Bloguide Post author

Battle Healer means that according to the damage done there is an amount heal to your allies

    3. DCUO Bloguide Post author

Area of Effect Healer means that players must be near an object to receive heals

    4. Steven Garcia

Thanks.. I think I might choose celestial because I know the combos …but still debating I just don’t know because yesterday I had sorcery (114 healer) and had trouble keeping people health up because they weren’t in healing zone and my watcher was getting destroyed within 10 seconds or is it the watcher the problem…but celestial I can burst healing powers if I have good troll

    5. DCUO Bloguide Post author

Well every healer has its own instant heal superpower and another superpower that heal the player and 3 allies at the same time. The mechanics that explained to you are additional for those healing superpowers but sometimes the player needs to be more experienced to heal in raids

  23. Heleo

I found both your dps and healer guides for nature helpful, I was wondering if you could create a guide that hybrids both healer and dps(for people who solo, or want to be able to do both. and sorry if this was already brought up and i didnt notice).

    1. DCUO Bloguide Post author

Hello Heleo, thanks for your suggestion. However, in DCUO it is hard to be a hybrid player because at high level content you need to have full role statistics to play your job in the group.

If a player provide us with a successful Hybrid Nature build and loadout we will be happy to post it as an Alternate Nature Loadout by we strongly recommend that players focus on their main role to be successful

  24. Anthony

Hi i was wondering where i would get a T3 weapon,I use Hand Blasters and i am legendary but i dont have a t3 weapon and also where would i get T4 Healer Gear i am about to get the full kyrptonian medico set and i’ve been wondering what gear i get next o:

    1. DCUO Bloguide Post author

Hello Anthony, thanks for your question. You can get T3 weapons only by looted from instances. Sunstone Matrix is a great place to get a weapon looted. You can find T4 Equipment at Magic Wings in your Headquarters

  25. PotassiumNitrate

Hi there, I’m coming back after a long break and I’m a little rusty. Can you please explain what regeneration super charge does in terms of health regen and power regen, is it comparable to word of power’s regen? Thanks in advance!! ☺️

    1. DCUO Bloguide Post author

Hello PotassiumNitrate, thanks for your comment. Regeneration and Word of Power provide the same power interaction, they both heal and restore power to your allies. For this build is necessary to have Regeneration to unlock Hive Mind and Swarm Shield for this reason you should pick it over Word of Power

  26. A1one

Hi I see that in the load out you say that we use HIVE Mind so why spend a point to get harvest If its not in the loadout?

    1. DCUO Bloguide Post author

Hello A1one, Harvest is unlocked because as you can see in the comments. Most players consider it a great power for healing. So you can use Harvest instead of any other superpower depending the situation. For example, in PVP Harvest is a great variant for your loadout

  27. jeandrae thibodeaux

Hi I have a question about the healing set up for nature. Shouldn’t we have the flying bug to get critical healing? Also I have my weapon as shield, is that good?

    1. DCUO Bloguide Post author

Hello Jeandrae, some players prefer healing in Normal form for getting power cost reduction after a successfull Weapon Mastery combo. Bug form increase your critical healing chance and critical healing magnitude so the beauty of Nature also allow you to have both forms able to heal, you just need to figure out how to put it hehe.

I suggest you to use weapons that increases your hit counter fast so you can recover power when you are alone. Hand Blaster: Pulse Beam or Staff: Mortar Mastery are great weapon combos that will help you in this task. You can also try One Handed or Dual Wield

  28. Shuu

Hey!,i’m probably going to start over on DCUO as i’m coming back into the game,I had a quick Question, which weapons should I use? I have no clue haha.

    1. DCUO Bloguide Post author

Hello Shuu, as a Nature Healer you need a fast weapon to reduce your superpower cost with weapon mastery combos. I reccomend you One handed or Dual wield for your nature 🙂

    1. DCUO Bloguide Post author

Hello Vladimir, thanks for writing. Our guides are focused on PVE because it is hard for us to find out which PVP loadouts are the best.

In PVP, using your weapon, blocking and interrupting in the exact time is more important than using your superpowers. That is why players below level 30 can win players with 100+ Combat rating (if the player level 30 is more dexterious with timing their attacks).

I recommend you to read your superpowers’s info and choose the ones that deals damage over time and protects you from enemies attacks

  29. Vladimir

Staff: Mortar mastery or Hand Blast: Pulse Beam (without WM)
    Which is better for healer?
I asked you about this beacause i don’t now do i need to spend SP in other weapons on critical healing chance and magnitude, or spend them into WM.
    I am T3 and 67 skill points.

    1. DCUO Bloguide Post author

Hello Vladimir, Staff: Mortar Mastery is better because let your superpowers get power consumption decreased. My recommendation is that you unlock your main weapon mastery and cross weapon masteries, after that you can focus on unlocking statistics for other weapon trees

    1. DCUO Bloguide Post author

Hello Draguno you can use Dual Wield or One Handed to activate weapon mastery combos and receive power cost reduction from superpowers. Hand Blaster or Staff: Mortar Mastery are great weapons for increasing Hit Counter fast so you can recover power faster than other Weapons

  30. Geronimo

after having a bit problems with healing LnW on standard loadout: Savage, Meta, Blossom, Shield, Hive Mind, Regeneration, started to changing a bit and this what i worked out.
All powers are focused on stacking pheromones, and load is when in bug form.
Loadout: Savage, Meta, Cross, Harvester, Hive Mind, Shield – no return to normal form from bug in loadout, cuz easily can put this power into loadout after party.

    Standard rotation is:
    1. Savage – pheromones out (HoTs), power refund when Hive Mind active
    2. Hive Mind – second in rotation to get AM power refund and buff restoration, ofc skipp it when still active,
    3. Cross – small insta buff plus pheromones out (HoTs) , power refund from AM
    4. Meta – 5 medium HoT tick to help Cross, pheromones out (HoTs), power refund from AM

    Emergency situations.
Ealier i was using blossom in that kind of situations, but after thinking about it, stacking pheromones again taking time, so repleace Blossom with combo which wont cancel pheromones, instead will put more:
    1. Harvester – first in order cuz have longer then Cross range ( less risky if somebody is far away), and have long animation,
    2. Cross – second cuz have shorter range, and this power used right after Harvester cancel Harvester’s long animation ( doubt that any healer want to be syuck in animation when party healt going down :P)
Powers from this combo used separate arent as good as Blossom (especially when pheromones arent fully stacked), but used in combo work the same as Blossom and dont cancel pheromones, when Blossom have that flaw, and used second time right away isnt that effective as first time cuz pheromones canceled. Both have power refund from AM when Hive Mind active.

I know for my nature healer he is currently 106 with 5900 or so resto and 155 sp I’ve speced into just a few weapon mastery for extra restoration and the rest went into all the critcal healing chance and magnitude. My current build focus on the new mechanic with insectiod form which restores power back when you activate Hive Mind and use healing abilities with pheromones.
    In insectiod form:
    Savage Growth
    Hive Mind
    Swarm Shield
    Hope this helps 🙂
I’m always changing loadouts and sp so if anyone has a helpful build fill free to share.

    1. MsTeranony

ok new to game followed load outs etc, confused over insectoid form, because i do not ever turn into a insectiod when i use it but am spec as shown above. granted i’m cr 51 atm on my char. ty for explaining to a noobie guys

  32. Supermemo

Can you do an updated version for gu43 with the give mind and insectiod form is it even worth the power back? Thank you

    1. DCUO Bloguide Post author

Of course Nimz, we will update all our guides with recommended Tactical MODs and multiple builds and loadouts if the power role needs it 🙂

  33. Aylinnah

Hi all, Just found this site and thought I’d throw in mine as well, I raid at a T6 Alert lvl and I can smash through T5 raids and Ops as solo heal with no problem whatsoever, I currently run regular ICW/TD/LHSB runs and have tried Necro a couple of times as well solo.
I’m currently a 105 nature healer with 5798 resto. My loadout differs a little from the ones above, I find it does what i need, although a little power hungry.
    —Savage Growth->Metabolism->Blossom->Harvest->Swarm Shield->Regeneration

I clip Savage Growth with Metabolism and Harvest with Swarm Shield (Which is used pretty much on CD)
Blossom if/when HP gets low and immediately following clip SG->Meta->Harvest to get pheromones back on everyone to get heals up again, and thats pretty much it,
The whole time my keys just roll 1->2, 4->5. Generally trolls are all good for power but sometimes I run low especially in SB on the 3 bosses In between heals Im always hitting something with Hand Blaster’s Pulse Beam to rack up cheap combo’s, this gives me back power and also time for the trolls and PoT to fill it back up.
I was wondering if Bllom was a better heal or not than Blossom, so I tried it, I had so much aggro on ‘wandering’ adds it wasnt funny, I was flat out using all my power to heal myself so I’ve switched back to mine, Nvr used X-poll maybe that’s better for raids as it grows with each target, but Harvest does some massive low aggro heals that will keep even the the biggest nub ‘wannabe tank’ dps alive 😉

Thank you so much Aylinnah for this amazing comment. We will soon reevaluate our guides and it is nice to have help from experienced players 🙂

    1. DCUO Bloguide Post author

Hello Hymlokk, Hand Blaster can be great for Healer also. With Pulse Bean increase hit counter fast. However, it does not have fast weapon mastery combos to decrease the super power’s Power cost.

  34. retro420

I have been a nature healer for 2 years now and just wanted to share my setup, hopefully it will help a few people:
I use metabolism, cross pollination, savage growth, regeneration, blossom, hive mind. All of these powers will clip the others except savage growth, so try and try and use that at the start of your rotation. Metabolism and savage growth will give good heal over time, and I use cross pollination for instant heals. Regeneration is only 50% supercharge and gives heal over time AND power over time to the whole group. hive mind gives a nice boost to might and restoration for the whole group (buffs my restoration for about 350 points). Blossom is the best power in this loadout, it will give good health on its own, but if you stack metabolism and savage growth (can’t remember how many times they will stack) then use blossom it will wipe the pheramones and give a huge heal. My heals from blossom always heal multiple team mates, don’t know why people say it only heals yourself and one other.

My rotation is: hive mind>savage growth>metabolism>weapon/range attack, I keep stacking savage growth and metabolism as needed using cross pollination if any ones health drops too quick. If the whole group drops low I will pop blossom>cross pollination then start restacking savage growth and metabolism, keep using hive mind when it is available in group content as it does make a big difference. I use regeneration as a “OMG WTF” heal when we are nearly dead, or if the troll isn’t keeping power up. I have used this rotation from fresh level 30 up to now (cr104) and am usually top healer, even when other healer is higher geared than me.

Wow, longer post than I was expecting lol, but hopefully it will help a few people out in game 🙂

  35. Nitehealer

What about going into Insectoid Form and sacrificing Powerful Resistance, Nanoeweave Armor, Intimidating Gaze? You get a 65% beef up on the heals and damage reduction skills. Just a thought. I’m only T4 for now with that setup which seems to be doing ok.

    1. DCUO Bloguide Post author

Hello NiteHealer, in fact being in Healer role “All Health restoration and damage prevention effects you trigger are increased by 65%”. Being in insectoid Form apply the same effect that you already have and you wont be able to use Weapon Mastery power decrease bonus 🙁 that is why insectoid form is not recommended

  36. Timo

Does Dominance also increase healing? Or it only does so in PvP? How should I prioritize skill points? Is 7 restoration per sp better than 4% healing magnitude? How about 4 restoration? What Skill Points should I get before moving to next weapon tree?

    1. DCUO Bloguide Post author

Hello Timo, Dominance increase your power effectiveness such as shields, healing, and more. However, Healer should focus on restoration, Critical Healing Chance, Critical Healing Magnitude, and Dominance if you have the change.

On Weapon trees, you should prioritize skill points on the critical healing change and critical healing magnitude, then you should unlock all Restoration you can, and finally, if you have Dominance / Power Crit Hit then unlock it

    1. DCUO Bloguide Post author

Hello LOLmarley, you can use Harvest to add another healer super-power to your loadout. You can use it instead of Hive Mind or Bloom

    1. DCUO Bloguide Post author

Hello Super Memo, this loadout can be useful for PVP. However, try to avoid using Bloom for not being interrupted by enemies. PVP arenas depend so much on using your weapon, interrupting, and blocking in the right time. As a healer you should be far away from your enemies and try to heal your allies as much as you can

    1. DCUO Bloguide Post author

Hello Super memo this guide offers players a recommend nature healing build and loadout, hope this help you 🙂

  37. Sore

    i thought I’d share a few details…

Harvest heals 4 people with increased healing for each layer of pheromones on that person.

Blossom heals you and one other for a large single target heal. It also heals 4 people with the same mechanic as Harvest except that it also removes the pheromones.

Cross Pollination will heal 4 people within a short range. Those 4 people will EACH echo that same heal to 8 people within a short range of them.

    1. DCUO Bloguide Post author

Thanks Sore for your comment, this will help Nature Healers a lot 🙂

    1. DCUO Bloguide Post author

Savage Growth provides heal over time with less power and Cross polination is replaced with Bloom that heals beastly 🙂

    1. DCUO Bloguide Post author

Hello Stuart, some guides show more than 6 superpowers which means that both vertical align superpowers are recommend but you need to choose one of them

  38. Steve

Isn’t bloom and cross-pollination a bit overkill? (I know hive mind is listed as an optional replacement for bloom, I’m just curious when you’d need both)

    1. DCUO Bloguide Post author

Blossom will only Health to yourself and the most injured group member while Bloom will restore Health to yourself and nearby allies over time. Bloom can be use when you see that multiple allies need to be restored fast at the same time.

  39. GingaAlchemist

I don’t know where to pose this question so I guess I will post it here. I’m trying to decide what kind of healer I want to make next. What would you say are the strengths and weaknesses of each particular healing power?

    1. Kane

Only have 2 healers at the moment, Celestial and Sorcery.

Will probably try nature as my next healer.

      IMO, for Celestial…

      1. Buffer
      2. Lots of HOTs
      3. Celestial Combos have no cooldowns, except for the base skill itself.
      4. Combos let you use more than the six skills on your tab.

      1. Slow to execute
      2. Dependent on combos to be effective
      3. Puny HOTs
      4. Combos gimp your DPS
      5. Needs fair bit of spamming combos and micro-management
      6. Investing in 1 skill requires you to get its mirror skill to unlock combo.

      For Sorcery…

      1. Fire and forget heals
      2. Soul Well (You keep killing, you keep ticking)
      3. Pets
      4. Easy Power Point management (You go for whatever suits your role)

      1. Long cooldowns on some skills.
      2. Lack of HOTs

    2. DCUO Bloguide Post author

Thank you so much Kane for your contribution. This will help others to choose their healer powers 🙂

  40. gambini

I’m currently a T3 Healer and I love this loadout as I can be a true healer focused on my duty…healing =)
I’ve arranged my loadout as: Bloom (or Hive Mind), Blossom, Cross Polination, Metabolism, Swarm Shield, Regeneration. I also use level 3 restoration mods +neck/feet/weapon mods. Great work DCUOBG, I really like the added mod suggestions!

    1. DCUO Bloguide Post author

Thanks Gambini for your comment, we always try to give you the best 🙂

    1. dcuobloguide Post author

Hi Andrew, thanks for your comment. This loadout is recommended for T5 Raids and Alerts groups. It have all powers that nature players should have. However, if you think other powers can help, you may use them 🙂

Im a nat healer and I use metabolism savage growth blossom bloom regeneration and hive mind mods red resto/prec blue resto/health and yellow resto works pretty good for me

    1. dcuobloguide Post author

Hi Lenny Dewey nice to receive your comment.

This loadout is focus on spamming healing powers and increase your group stats. However, you can unlock Insectoid Form instead of Hive Mind and Powerful Resistance if you want to be a giant but, i assure you this will make your heals more powerfull 🙂

    1. dcuobloguide Post author

      Hello Ryan,

Choosing a Weapon for your power role depends mostly on your needs and what weapone are you used to use. However, as a healer role we recommend to use range weapons (rifle, bow, dual pistols) with fast combos, and for DPS role you will need to handle melee weapons (one handed, dual wield, brawling, two handed) with powerful damage combo.

All weapons have different ways to use them, but its effectiveness will depend on how you dominate weapon combos.

    2. DCUO Bloguide Post author

Hello Hymlokk, Hand Blaster can be great for Healer also. With Pulse Bean increase hit counter fast. However, it does not have fast weapon mastery combos to decrease the super power’s Power cost.

    1. dcuobloguide Post author

Thanks Jose for your comment. In this guide, Savage Growth is replaced by Cross Pollination. They both have the same Healer interaction, but Cross Pollination heal yourself and all allies within range, growing in strenght with every ally healed.
