  • Berserk [6A] is the best supercharge power because it deals all damage dealt again to nearby enemies for a short time.
  • Mangle [6B] is great when facing multiple NPCs to crowd control and deal heavy damage to them.
Range Loadout

  • Alerts and Raids Rotation
    • Plasma Retch [4] (needs reload) > Dreadful Blast [3R] + Hold Range x2 > Frenetic Bombardment [2R] + Tap Range x4
    • Galling Eruption [5] (needs reload) > Dreadful Blast [3R] + Hold Range x2 > Frenetic Bombardment [2R] + Tap Range x4

Rotation Tips

  • Solo Rotation allows player to be powered all the time by spending low power in battle
  • Alerts and Raids Rotation has high-power consumption making it only viable when a controller is in the group.
  • These Rotations focus on dealing heavy damage with Plasma Burn effects. It is vital to have your enemies Plasma Burned all the time (Relentless Anger [4M], Galling Eruption [5], and Plasma Retch [4R] ) in order to deal great damage with Outrage [1], Revenge [2M], Frenetic Bombardment [2R], and Dreadful Blast [3R]
  • In Defensive Rotation, Severe Punishment [3M] grants you the Enrage effect making you virtually invincible for 8 seconds until Rage Crashing.
    • You must coordinate your Outrage [1]Revenge [2M] and their Rage Combos attacks to be performed while Rage Crashing to ignored its damage caused.
    • Mastering the time of Rage Crash will make you fight against powerful NPCs without being knocked out

Tactical MODS

    • Blast Adapter: Weapons attacks blast your target and five other nearby enemies for additional damage
    • Absorption Adapter: Weapon attacks have a chance to activate a shield, reducing damage by 75% until damage equal to 30% of your Health is prevented
  • NECK
    • Escalating Might: Increases your Might by 2% for 8 seconds when you hit an enemy with a harmful super power. Does not work with Supercharge powers
  • BACK
    • Breakout Regeneration: Gain Health regeneration for 4 seconds after using the Breakout ability
    • Berserker: Your damage output increases by an additional 10% when you Health drops below 35%
  • FEET
    • Deadly Block: Your Block Counter causes additional damage equal to 5% of your Precision
    • Explosive Block: Your Block Counter knocks enemies much further away and increases their helpless duration by up to 1 second
    • Core Strength: Gain an additional 2% damage
    • Max Damage: Using super powers increases damage by 2% for a short time

  1. what is better to use as a rage dps one handed, or duel wield

Hi Itachi thanks for comment, i personally use Dual Wield for my Rage DPS. Its hold range attack hits multiple targets and it can be very useful. Furthermore, its combos hits like hell and you dont need to much skill points to spend on.

  2. BetoBlast

Just saying that I love this website.

Thanks BetoBlast, we are glad you like our job, this motivate us to continue doing more guides 🙂

  3. This guide is okay, but I am worried about the “Vunerable to block” caveat on some of the abilities. I dunno if it’s just me, but I am starting to notice that some pve enemies (bosses too) the higher you level that are begining to block more often than not that it sometimes negates our abilities and leaves us power-hungry. Also, can you suggest another loadout for flyers? I am sensing a more 80% melee-specific loadout here as well as a non-flyer feel since jump-cancel is suggested. I’m already at level 22 on my character (a flyer) when a friend suggested me this guide, and I would kinda hate having to restart all over from scratch on my premium account if that is the case.

Hi Xol thanks for your comment. As rage dps you should have in your loadout the best powers to ensure high damage. However, clipping Plasma Retch with jump and then Dreadful Blast + combo is the most powerful way to make high range DPS but this is only doable when you have a controller by your side. If you are in solo situations like Quest, Challenge or Duos i personally use Relentless Anger (Heals back all damage for 8 seconds) clipped with Bloodlust (increase all damage 50%) and my dual wield weapon combos; only if i know i receive a lot of damage i use Outrage to prevent rage crashing damage on me. This rotation help me to save a lot of power and restore power with my weapon combos.

  4. Rage seems a little over powered. Ignore rage crash damage is too good.

  5. this isn’t a guide it’s just descriptions on a few powers, how to avoid rage crash, and a two power range rotation.

to add to rage rotation try Eviscerating Chain -> clip Bloodlust -> Plasma Retch -> jump cancel -> clip Dreadful Blast combo x2. Repeat sans EC throwing in range consumable clips, trinkets, and soders as needed. Robot Sidekick helps for range too.

thanks for your comment, our guides focus on helping players to know how to spend their power points and teach them how to use their powers on their loadouts. However, each player, based on their experience, can follow this guide or make their own builds and loadouts according to their convenience

DCUO is a very complex game, so we try to make understandable guides to our community.
