Yeah, this information was very helpful, but there is still a serious issue with these levels. My wife and I entered the 2nd tier 7 duo which has a minimum of a 111 CR, and a suggested CR of 121. We are CR 116, but decided to give it a try anyway. Imagine our EXTREME disappointment when after 10 min’s of fighting the first subboss the loot is gear set at CR 98 & 102! WTF? I’ve never been so disappointed in this game as I was yesterday when this happened!

Thanks for sharing Stephen 🙂 The best way to get the greatest Equipment is by buying it from Vendors. Most of dropped equipment from challenges or duos are really low CR compared to Alerts or Raids

There are three other tier 7 vendors, one is located next to the central pillar on the causeway in the central hub in the watchtower, the other two are located in the right side of the hangar in the tech wing, where you’ll also find the tier 8 vendor.
BEWARE of leveling up too fast in tier 7 because there’s a severe shortage of opportunities to earn marks of victory once you reach 117 CR.
*I strongly recommend against buying any tier 7 armor or accessories until you have completely stocked up your base mainframe & generator, priority being tactical mods, sidekick, henchmen, supply drop, orbital strike directly from your base mainframe, plus the two extra slots (5 x MoV) in your utility belt pouch (the “utilty belt” being a license which you get for free if you’re a member or you can buy the license a-la-carte from the in game marketplace), then buy at least half of your needs for generator & gear mods from Karen who is located at the far back end of Themyscira Command Post (the entry of which is located in northeastern side of the central hub, lower level, then finally buy affinity generator mods from the console vendor located at the northern end of the tech wing in the watchtower. You probably already have or soon will have half of you 6.2 to 6.3 generator & gear mods, so don’t buy too many.
**When you’re finally done filling out your base mainframe & generator plus your two extra utility slotsplus at least four 6.2 synthetic gear mods for the 124 CR gear you’ll buy, make sure you have & continue to have 100 marks of victory on hand by repeatedly doing the 7 daily 4 player instances plus duos, solos, side missions, & warrants, while cautiously buying each of the 124 CR gear available from the bot vendor 151617 located next to the central pillar on the main causeway in the central hub of the watchtower, beginning with the cheapest & least CR effective items being the two rings, then the face, then the neck, then the shoulders then the 121 CR weapon.
***You’ll probably crest 117 CR once you’ve bought the 124 CR shoulders but they only cost 50 x MoV and the weapon costs 70 x MoV, which assuming you still have 45 to 50 MoV left after buying the shoulders, you should be able to buy soon enough doing the very few dailies & weeklies still awarding Marks of Victory. The rest of your gear will drop for free, ranging from 110 to 116 CR initially doing the 120+ duos & such but it will be very slow going from then on, so don’t spend your marks on any more gear until you absolutely have to.

I’m curious as to the t6 vendor gear is CR92 but the parademon quartermaster is CR94 why would I bother with t6?

That is correct LPK, you always buy the latest Tier you have access to. You must check requirements so you can spend Marks of Victory on the highest Tier available 🙂 You can check all our Vendor Guides which include CR Requirements, MOV Costs, and more info
